I’m always being asked; how do you make real money online? And it frustrates me to think that there are so many people who try to earn money on the internet and just give up. The online business is the easiest business I know of!

There are numerous ways of making real money online, and I’ve researched and dabbled in most of the main ones. What I’ve found is for return vs time and money involved; affiliate marketing is the way to go!

Affiliate marketing means selling a product created by someone else for a commission. This is really handy especially for beginners because it means you don’t have to create a product of your own and you don’t have to handle anyone else’s products! Have a look on ClickBank and paydotcom, you’ll see thousands of products and services in many different categories. You’ll see some with commissions of 75%!

There’s nothing stopping you from selling products from all different categories but to make real money online you should stick to one area or niche and try and build a following in this area. For example someone in the health and fitness niche would focus on training and diet related products. Building this type of following is the most effective way to market online.

This way you can build a list of followers by means of collecting email addresses and build a relationship with them by sending them out newsletters of information in that niche. This way when you recommend a product people are more likely to buy it because they trust you due to this relationship you have built with them. This is the key to make real money online. If you were to just randomly collect email addresses with no specific niche in mind; it’s quite likely that when you send out a sales letter you will get a lot of people who have no interest in the products you are promoting and so your sales rate will be low.
